What to check with a free pattern
Four checks, half a day of work, and you will know whether the rest of the catalogue is worth your money.
- That it prints at the correct scale — measure the test square with a ruler.
- That every piece the garment needs is actually there.
- That the seams meant to be sewn together are the same length.
- That the sewn garment fits the way it should, in the real fabric.
