Guayabera-style shirt with a shirt collar, short sleeves and a button front. On either side of the button placket there are vertical pleated panels that give the garment a slightly more formal look.
A lightweight linen or a cool poplin works best, showing the pleating well without losing freshness in warm climates. Pleat the panels before attaching them to the front so the pleat is not lost when assembling the garment.
