About the patterns

A Moldey pattern is the full set of pieces for a garment, drawn at true scale and delivered as a file. Seam allowances are included, notches and grainlines are marked, and the complete size range is inside the same file.

Every pattern is approved with a sewn sample before publication. One that does not pass never reaches the catalogue.

About buying from abroad

Nothing physical moves, so there is no shipping cost, no import duty, no customs and no risk of a parcel going missing. The price is identical from any country because no part of it depends on where you are.

Questions

Do I have to buy each size separately?
No. Every size is inside the same file, already graded: XS to 4XL for adults and 2 to 18 for children. You pay once and can produce the whole size run.
How much does a sewing pattern cost?
The price is the same for all 2,000+ patterns and does not change by country:
0 for PDF A4,
5 for PDF plotter, $20 for the sublimation file and $50 for the Audaces and Optitex files.
Will I pay customs or import duty?
No. Customs is not involved because nothing physical is shipped — the pattern is a file you download.
How can I pay?
PayPal, card, bank transfer or cryptocurrency on the BEP20 network.
When do I get the files?
Patterns marked for instant delivery unlock as soon as the payment clears; everything else within 24 hours. The files appear in the downloads section of your account.
Can I manufacture and sell garments made from these patterns?
Patterns come with a production licence: you can manufacture and sell the garments with no unit limit and no royalties. The only thing you cannot do is resell the file itself.
Can I modify a pattern?
Yes — change lengths, adjust ease, combine pieces, adapt it to your own size chart. The licence on the file stays the same: a modified pattern still cannot be resold.
What if a file is faulty?
It gets replaced. Because this is a digital product that is downloaded, there are no refunds for change of mind — which is exactly why free patterns exist, so you can verify the quality before paying.
Do the patterns include seam allowances?
Yes, seam allowances are already included in the piece outline, along with notches, grainlines and cut quantities.
What size chart are the patterns based on?
A standard production size chart, the one most workshops use. Each listing shows the specific sizes that garment includes. If you need your own chart respected, a custom pattern can be developed on it.
