Paperbag skirt with buttons and tie belt sewing pattern for girls — Girls Skirt

Girls Skirt is a digital sewing pattern for girls from the Moldey catalog: paperbag skirt with buttons and tie belt.
Short straight skirt with a gathered, ruffled waist, cinched by a belt in the same fabric that ties in a bow at the front. A center placket has a row of tortoiseshell buttons, and on the sides there are two patch pockets with topstitching. It is shown in a matte sage green, with a soft body.
Linen or a viscose with body works best, judging by the drape seen in the photo. Leave the waistband just wide enough to gather with elastic, and reinforce the button placket and the buttonholes with interfacing so they don't lose shape.
