Crew-neck sweater with a ribbed band, long sleeves with a raglan seam marked by a diagonal seam visible at the shoulder. The fabric is a chunky ribbed knit in heathered gray, and the cuffs and hem finish in a close-fitting rib band. The fit is regular, with no pockets.
A chunky wool or acrylic knit with body works best, for the firm drape the photo shows. Cut the rib bands shorter than the opening they join and stretch them as you sew, and stabilize the shoulder with tape so it does not stretch out.
