Short-length sweater ending above the waist, with a close-fitting high neck of low height, dropped shoulders and wide long sleeves with an elastic cuff at the wrist. At the hem, an elastic gathers the knit and leaves a soft fullness that rests on the waist. The knit is ribbed with a fuzzy look.
A chunky ribbed knit with some weight works best, to keep the volume at the hem. Cut the hem about one third wider than the body measurement so the elastic gathers nicely, and run the elastic through a hem sewn with a stretch stitch.
