Long party dress with halter neck and open back sewing pattern for women — Dress 218

Dress 218 is a digital sewing pattern for women from the Moldey catalog: long party dress with halter neck and open back.
Party dress with a halter neck that ties behind the neck and a completely bare back. At the waist it has a band of embroidered beadwork in a cross shape, with a buttonhole-style opening in the center, and from there a long, loose skirt with front draping falls to the floor.
A fabric with a fluid drape such as chiffon or crepe works best for the skirt, with a plain woven lining in the bodice to support the draping, and the beadwork embroidered on a tulle or spandex base at the waist. The beadwork cross is best assembled separately before sewing it to the waist.
Recommended fabrics: Chiffon, Crepe, Tulle and Spandex (lycra).
