Long, fitted leggings with a wide waistband whose lower edge is curved and rises over the waist. On the back there is a central V seam that runs down from the waistband and shapes the seat area. They end at the ankle, with no pockets or cutouts on the legs.
An opaque, soft stretch knit with very good recovery, like those used for sportswear, suits this style well. Sew the V seam with a stretch stitch, stretching it slightly while joining so the fabric lies flat, and cut the waistband double so the edge does not show.
