The leggings have a high rise and a close fit at the hip and thigh, and from the knee they open into a wide flare that reaches the ankle. There are no visible pockets or seams other than the side ones.
They work best in a spandex jersey knit or spandex, so the fit above holds without losing the drape of the flare, with modal as an alternative with a softer hand. The flare is achieved with an asymmetric leg pattern piece between the front and back panels.
