The front opens with a center slit, and on each side there are cargo pockets with flaps, of different dimensions, some with long straps hanging down. The back is plain and the fit widens slightly toward the hem.
The sand tone and firm drape suggest a medium-weight woven fabric, such as gabardine. Sew the pockets on before joining the sides, reinforce the flaps with double topstitching and finish the start of the slit with bar tacks.
