They have side slash pockets, a curved slit at each side of the hem and a back zipper pocket under the waistband. Inside there is a triangular lining brief; the exterior has a checkered texture.
A lightweight technical fabric with texture and a loose drape works best, with an elastic jersey knit for the waistband and the brief. Sew the brief with a flat elastic seam to avoid chafing, and set in the back pocket zipper before closing the waistband.
