Decorative topstitching in light thread marks the collar edge and two curved shaping seams on each side of the bust, which define the silhouette. The sleeves are short and the hem has a fitted band. The back is plain.
It works best in a rib knit with good body and little transparency, with spandex to support the close fit. Apply a fine knit interfacing along the edge where the zipper goes so it does not ripple, and topstitch the seams with heavy thread to emphasize the contrast.
