What to look for when choosing and cutting
- Little fabric per garment: a top uses a fraction of what a dress takes, so the cost of the pattern is spread out quickly.
- In strappy and open-back tops, the stretch of the fabric determines the fit: choose a knit with good recovery.
- Sports tops with mesh or a crossed back have reinforcements at the seams; check the sewing order of each pattern.

- Yes. They are sold with a production license: you can make and sell the garments with no limit on units. Because they have few pieces, tops are among the fastest styles to produce.
- What fabric works best for a top?
- For fitted tops, knit fabrics with elastane (lycra, microfiber, cotton with lycra). For loose or wrap tops, lightweight woven fabrics. The listing for each pattern shows the recommended one.
How to buy from Moldey
Choose the pattern and the format, pay with Mercado Pago, PayPal, bank transfer or cryptocurrency, and download the file. The price depends on the format and, for each format, it is the same across the whole catalog and in every country: $10 for PDF A4, $15 for plotter PDF, $20 for the sublimation file and $50 for the editable Audaces and Optitex files.
