Halter top in flowing fabric that falls in a loose drape over the chest, with a deep V-neckline and a neck tie behind the nape. The sides are open down to the waist and the back is bare. The hem drops to a point and the fit is loose at the front, not hugging the torso.
It works best in a fine jersey, viscose or liquid-drape satin, which forms the drape without stiffness. If the drape is cut on the bias, stabilize the neckline edge and the sides with reinforcing tape before finishing them, since they take the most strain.
