Wrap top with puff sleeves and gathered waist sewing pattern for women — Top 40
Top 40 is a digital sewing pattern for women from the Moldey catalog: wrap top with puff sleeves and gathered waist.
The top has a deep V-neckline, short sleeves with puffed volume and a gathered base that cinches the waist. The body is fitted and the length reaches just above the hip, with no visible closures.
Because of the sleeve volume, it works best in bengaline or crepe with spandex, fabrics that hold the puff and also define the gathered waist. Build the waist gathering with an inside elastic so it keeps its shape with wear.
Recommended fabrics: Bengaline, Crepe and Poplin.
