A row of four round pearl-style buttons marks the diagonal, and the edge of the wrap has a thin white trim. Underneath there is an inner short, and at the back a center seam runs up to the waist.
It works best in a medium-body woven fabric, such as crepe or a fine gabardine, that holds the diagonal of the wrap without marking. Apply interfacing where the buttons are sewn and finish the trim with bias binding sewn flush so the line stays clean.
