Cropped ribbed knit top with a neckline that leaves one shoulder bare: the fabric folds outward and falls as a wide fold over the arm. On the other side is a very short sleeve with a wavy edge, like the hem. The torso is fitted, with small gathers at the side.
A fine, very stretchy rib knit works best. The wavy edge comes from running the edges through the serger with a short stitch, stretching the fabric as you sew, and the neckline fold is secured with a discreet topstitch at the shoulder seam.
