A contrast gray tape runs along those seams, the edge of the sleeves and the hem. On the front it has a small centered print. The fit is close and the length sits above the waist.
A medium-weight cotton jersey with spandex works best, one that holds the raglan seams without rippling. Apply the piping with a coverstitch machine or a zigzag, and cut the sleeves with the grain running the same way on both sides so the diagonal lines end up symmetrical.
